Visitor & Contractor Induction (petrochemical) / INEOS Nitriles

INEOS Nitriles is a top-tier COMAH site producing acrylonitrile (used within plastics production).  The client based in Seal Sands, Middlesbrough required a detailed induction film to be shown to visitors and contractors arriving at their site.

We worked with Health & Safety personnel at the site to plan the content of the film based upon their existing paper-based induction – which had to be delivered manually each time a visitor/contractor arrived on site.  We translated this material to a voiceover and produced a detailed treatment which was signed off by the client prior to production.

The film was designed in a modular fashion, covering various topics ranging from access to the site, CCTV policy, smoking and driving rules, through to what to do in an emergency, safety showers, safe havens and permits to work.

A combination of video, graphics and information deliver the information required to safely induct visitors and contractors to the site.

INEOS employees feature within the production and an actor was commissioned to play the role of the visitor within the film.
