Rail Safety Live / Learn Live

Working with Learn Live, we supplied set design and build, sound, lighting, cameras, vision mixing and VT playback for Rail Safety Live.

The broadcast is a partnership with Learn Live and Network Rail - delivering railway safety messaging in an interactive way, direct to the classroom.

The broadcast featured members from Network Rail, British Transport Police (BTP) and Chiltern Railways alongside guest Tom Hubbard as part of the #YouVsTrain campaign.

Tom was 16 when he escaped death after climbing onto a parked train. He was electrocuted by more than 25,000 volts from overhead power cables and suffered third degree burns across 57% of his body.  Tom spoke about his experience as part of the broadcast and answered questions from live audience and online viewers.

The live stream was broadcast from Turves Green Girls School, Northfield, Birmingham.
