National Science & Media Museum - Royal Society Book Prize / National Science & Media Museum

We were commissioned by the National Science and Media Museum on behalf of the Royal Society to produce a live stream for the Royal Socitey Young People's Book Prize 2019.

Hosted by Lindsey Russell (Blue Peter), the event took place in the Pictureville Cinema.

The hour-long event began with a science-inspired Rockets & Robots show (Q20 Theatre), followed by a question and answer session with the nominated authors and illustrators.  The event concluded with the Young People's Book Prize, awarded to Planetarium: Welcome to the Museum by astrophysicist Raman Prinja and artist Chris Wormell.

We supplied 3 cameras for the event, which was vision mixed and live streamed, alongside full audio mixing and AV support (using the Cinema's projector and sound system for in-venue delivery).
