PTZ Support for European Town Hall / oXyFire Media

The Brief
An international client with offices in the Netherlands required professional livestream coverage of a company-wide town hall meeting. The event brought together senior leadership and global teams, with both in-person and remote audiences. oXyFire Media led the production and brought in Bright Spark Studios to enhance the camera setup with flexible, remotely-operated coverage.
Our Approach
We supplied and operated 2 Canon CR-N500 PTZ cameras, integrated into oXyFire’s live production environment. The PTZs were used alongside their 3 operated cameras, giving the production team additional angles — particularly for discreet cutaways, audience shots, and fixed wides — without needing extra camera operators on-site.
The PTZs were controlled using our Skaarhoj controller, allowing for seamless movement and shot-switching during the live event. Our cameras were fed into the vision mix alongside the main camera units, with colour profiles and formats matched across the board for visual consistency.
Working closely with oXyFire, we ensured all kit was synchronised, tested, and rehearsal-ready ahead of the live stream. The final setup allowed for dynamic coverage without increasing the physical crew footprint — ideal for a high-profile internal broadcast in a busy corporate environment.
The Outcome
The event was delivered smoothly and professionally, with a high-quality stream reaching staff in multiple countries. The client was pleased with the look and feel of the broadcast, and the collaborative workflow between our teams meant all elements ran to plan.
Our PTZ cameras offered flexibility without compromise — giving the production team extra coverage options and enabling fast turnaround between shots. This hybrid approach (operated + PTZ) is becoming increasingly common for high-stakes internal comms, where production value matters but discretion and efficiency are also key.
If you’d like to explore how PTZs could support your next livestream — either stand-alone or integrated into a larger setup — we’d be happy to advise.
