Our temporary connectivity options
4G/5G connectivity
We use 4G/5G routers and external antennas to deliver high-speed internet where fixed broadband isn’t available (or isn’t reliable enough).
- SIMs available across the four main UK networks
- Multi-network SIMs also available, allowing the connection to be steered to the strongest network in the area
- Ideal for short deployments, moving locations, or sites with variable coverage
Starlink satellite internet
For remote or hard-to-serve locations, Starlink can provide a rapid-deploy broadband connection with strong throughput — useful where mobile coverage is limited or congested.
(Starlink is particularly effective for rural sites, outdoor events, and locations where you need a standalone primary link.)
Bonded connectivity with Peplink
Where reliability is critical, we use Peplink bonding to combine multiple internet paths (for example 4G/5G + Starlink, or multiple 4G/5G connections). This creates a more resilient connection with improved uptime and performance.
Peplink features such as WAN Smoothing and Forward Error Correction (FEC) are designed to reduce the impact of packet loss and jitter — which is especially important for video and real-time services like:
- Live streaming
- Microsoft Teams / Zoom calls
- Remote production and contribution feeds
You also benefit from load balancing and hot failover, so if one link drops or degrades, traffic can move to the best available path.
