Digital Innovation Hubs Launch Live Stream / HDRUK

We worked closely with Health Data Research UK and UK Research and Innovation to produce a live web broadcast for the formal launch of the Digital Innovation Hub Programme from Great Ormond Street Hospital's 'Drive' facility in Bloomsbury.

The Digital Innovation Hub Programme is funded by the Industrial Strategy Challenge Fund and aims to increase the access and use of multi-modal health data for research and innovation. This is part of a wider initiative to deliver the government’s vision to reform the architecture of technology in the NHS and make it work better for patients, clinicians and researchers.

With under 2 hours setup time before the event began and with no easy venue parking or drop-off facility, our streamlined solution saw equipment transported to the venue in tote boxes from a nearby car park.

Our crew of 2 provided a vision mixed 2 camera stream, with presenter PowerPoint slides mixed into the output for remote viewers to see the information being presented.

Using a bonded stream provider, we utilised the venue's ethernet connectivity alongside 2 4G modems for failsafe operation.
